Daily Choice Parking Options
SDSU offers several parking options for hourly, daily, and long-term parking needs. Daily-choice parking can be a more affordable alternative to purchasing monthly or semester parking.
The daily-choice parking rate will be $4.75 per day (including fees) in four parking areas, Parking Structure 3, Parking Structure 4, Parking Lot 17/17A/17B, and Parking Lot 15. This rate is available exclusively through the PayByPhone app/website.
Note: you cannot use this rate to park outside of P3, P4, P15, or P17 areas and it is not valid in any Faculty-Staff designated areas. Vehicles that pay in these zones but park outside of the areas are subject to citation. Time restrictions in EV charging areas still apply.
Benefits of Daily-Choice parking:
- Pay-as-you-go instead of paying for the full cost of a permit up front.
- The daily-choice rate is a 24-hour permit that starts when you begin your parking sessions.
- You can park as needed and use alternatives to driving alone (transit, carpool, walking, biking, etc.) when you don’t need to drive.
- Daily-choice parking areas generally have ample parking space available.
