Special Events & Construction Parking

If you are planning an event or need construction parking we can provide parking information, authorize parking access, remove bollards and assist with traffic control staffing when necessary. 

To request services, complete and submit the online Special Event/Construction Staffing Request Form.

A $50 late fee may apply for event/construction requests that are submitted less than 5 business days in advance of the event.

For Viejas Arena and Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre events, parking fees can be paid in advance or upon arrival. SDSU's parking operations are cashless. Visit the Viejas Arena parking website or the OAT parking website to pay in advance. Payments are accepted from all major credit cards, ApplePay or GooglePlay.

ADA parking requires a permit purchase through PayByPhone, using Zone 28508.

If a parking attendant is not present at event locations, a PayByPhone or Offstreet permit is required for the time you are parked. 

Parking in areas not designated for special events will result in a citation.

For Men's Basketball, season pass ticketholders may park in Parking Structure 6, Parking Structure 7, Parking Structure 12 or Parking Structure 3. Non-season-pass-ticketholders may park in Parking Structure 12 or Parking Structure 3. If a parking attendant is not present at event locations, an Offstreet permit or PayByPhone permit is required for the time you are parked.

Patrons attending all other athletic events are required to pay for parking through Offstreet or through PayByPhone. 

Overflow parking for Snapdragon Stadium is available at the SDSU campus. Permits are available through Offstreet or through PayByPhone. If parking at SDSU campus, take the trolley to the stadium (trolley fares apply).
