Parking Options for Visitors

SDSU offers several visitor parking options for hourly, daily and short-term parking needs. Visitor parking stalls are unmarked. Visitor lots have a "P" on the lot marker sign. Visitors may not park in spaces marked for Service/Vendor (S/V), Special Permit (SP), Electric Vehicle (EV), or Disabled Person (DP) unless accompanied by a special permit, DMV placard/plate, or are actively charging in an EV space. Purchase of a permit requires vehicle information since the permit is virtual and is linked to the license plate.

Visitors may purchase parking permits using the following options:

Hourly, daily and weekly permit options can be purchased through the PayByPhone app or website. 

Rates will vary depending on parking location.

  • $3.00 per hour, for up to 6 hours
  • $20.35 per day, valid from 12 a.m. - 11:59 p.m.
